Six years ago, I was awakened in the middle of the night with the name of my company. Not fully understanding if I was dreaming or not, I dismissed the thought. Fast forward a year later (2020), I traveled to London, only to be in the mist of Europe being shut down for COVID. After returning to the United States, we too were shut down for COVID. While I was concerned about our pandemic, the name of the company, “Getup-Getaway Travel, persistently at the top of mind. I then pursued how to set-up a travel company and started learning, educating and certifying myself in all areas of travel.

I must say that I believe this is my calling as it has been both a rewarding and successful venture. It is always a pleasure to meet new people and do my best to help fulfill their dreams, while being cognizant of their finances. I am always honest and realistic with my clients making sure to express whether or not their request is a reasonable request. I am the steward over your travel plans and I accept that responsibility.
